INILAHCOM, San Francisco - Seperti tahun-tahun sebelumnya, Apple kembali merilis daftar game dan aplikasi terpopuler di toko aplikasi App Store dalam satu tahun terakhir.

Mengutip CNET, dalam daftar kali ini, Apple membagi seluruh game dan aplikasi ke dalam beberapa kategori.

Kategori tersebut antara lain adalah game terpopuler untuk perangkat iPhone, iPad, Mac, Apple TV, serta satu tambahan kategori lain yaitu game terbaik di layanan game berlangganan, Arcade.

Kemudian ada pula aplikasi terpopuler untuk iPhone, iPad, Mac, dan Apple TV.

Semua aplikasi dan game yang masuk dalam daftar tersebut dipilih oleh para editor App Store di seluruh dunia.

Tak hanya itu, Apple juga merilis daftar judul aplikasi dan game terpopuler untuk perangkat iPhone dan iPad selama 2019.

Predikat sebagai game iPhone terbaik diraih oleh game berjudul Sky: Children of The Light. Bergenre petualangan, game ini dikembangkan oleh Thatgamecompany dan dirilis pada Juni 2019.

Di App Store, game ini mendapatkan skor 4,9 dari 5 dan banyak mendulang komentar positif dari para pemain.

Sementara untuk aplikasi iPhone terbaik diraih oleh Spectre Camera yang menggunakan Artificial Intelligence (AI) dari pengembang Lux Optics.

Untuk perangkat iPad, predikat game terpopuler diraih oleh Hyper Light Drifter. Game ini mengusung tampilan dua dimensi layaknya game klasik era 1990-an. Namun, tampilan inilah yang justru membuat game tersebut diminati banyak pengguna iPad. Game ini juga mendapatkan nilai 4,9 dari 5 bintang.

Sementara aplikasi iPad terpopuler diraih Flow by Moleskine, hasil garapan pengembang Moleskine.

Untuk tahun 2019 ini, YouTube, Netflix, dan Instagram masih bertengger di posisi tiga teratas pada kategori aplikasi gratis terpopuler di iPhone.

Sementara untuk iPad, formasinya sedikit berbeda. YouTube menjadi aplikasi gratis terpopuler untuk perangkat iPad diikuti oleh Netflix dan Amazon Prime Video.
