CLEVELAND, Ohio – It seems this season, more than most, Opening Day can’t get here fast enough.
Last year’s Covid-shortened season had its moments, most of which centered on Shane Bieber. The Indians ace went 8-1 with a 1.63 ERA and 122 strikeouts on his way to earning the AL Cy Young award. The team’s season ended with a brief Wild Card appearance and dreams of what could have been.
But Opening Day also means memories from fans, and we want to hear about yours. Maybe it was a rare chance to see a ballgame, or maybe the weather played a role. You might have seen your favorite player – or an unlikely hero. Whatever the story, let us know:

Cleveland opens its season with a 1:10 p.m. game Thursday, April 1, at Detroit. The Tribe’s home opener is 4:10 p.m. Monday, April 5, against Kansas City.
Every Cleveland sports team is near and dear to the hearts of local fans, but the Indians have a longer history than any other local team, dating back more than 100 years. We’re all waiting to hear those two words that will make many of us feel like a sense of normalcy is here, or at least close.
