FRANKLIN COUNTY, Ky. (WTVQ) – Residents of the 56th state House District which covers parts of Franklin and Fayette counties and all of Woodford County have a chance Tuesday night to hear where one of two candidates running for the seat stand on issues.
Together Frankfort invites KY’s 56th House district voters to online meeting with Democratic candidate Lamar Allen at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 20.
The event will be moderated Laura Cullen Glasscock, publisher of The Kentucky Gazette.
Organizers say they issued several invitations to both candidates, including Republican Daniel Fister, who indicated he was booked.
The zoom meeting starts with opening statements describing their background and policy positions, followed by a question and answer session, moderated by Glasscock.
