MUSKEGON – Mona Shores football coach Matt Koziak planted the idea during practice this week: How cool would it be for the Sailors to be the first opponent to win on renovated Hackley Stadium?
It became reality Friday night, as the Sailors defeated the crosstown rival Muskegon Big Reds on their home field, 21-14.
In the Big Reds' first game on their new AstroTurf, Sailors senior Brady Rose stole the show with a memorable performance on both sides of the ball.
