The three Jefferson County commissioners will hear an update on COVID-19 from Dr. Tom Locke, county health officer, when they meet at 9 a.m. Monday.

Commissioners will hear an update on progress in updating the six-year general fund financial model.

They will consider two projects for state Recreation and Conservation Office (RCO) funding applications, asking for $195,415 for the Hoh River Resiliency Plan Phase I and $94,825 for the Dosewallips River powerlines project with matched funds of $14,703.

They also will hear from the Jefferson Land Trust about applications to the state to purchase or place conservation measures on property in Port Townsend and Chimacum.

Also on the agenda is review and possible action on a draft letter to Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission in support of postponing revenue sharing by the Fort Worden Public Development Authority until 2024 as well as a draft proposal on education and actions to address institutional bias/racism.

Commissioners will check in on the Intergovernmental Coordinating Committee’s work with six community groups to build recovery and resiliency from COVID-19.

On the consent agenda is an amendment that provides an additional $19,814 to Jefferson County Marine Resources Committee operations and projects, bringing the total to $184,000.

Port Townsend city

The Port Townsend Ad Hoc Committee on Public Safety and Law Enforcement will consider a work plan when it meets at 6 p.m. Monday.

The panel also will be briefed on police department basics.

The Finance and Budget Committee will meet at 3 p.m. Tuesday to discuss mid-year financials and capital projects.

Quilcene school

The Quilcene School Board plans actions on director of special services position structure when it meets in a special session at 6 p.m. Monday.

Public Utility District

Jefferson County Public Utility District commissioners will review presentations on a risk management policy and on large onsite septic system when they gather in a special meeting at 10 a.m. Tuesday.
