The Strait of Juan de Fuca Ecosystem Recovery Network members will hear about the next steps for the organization, among other topics, during its quarterly meeting from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Friday.

Here is the agenda:
• Jeff Parsons of the Puget Sound Partnership will present “Washington State Legislative briefing and Strait ERN LIO advocacy opportunities” at 9:40 a.m.
• John Cambalik, coordinator for the Strait ERN and Erin Ryan-Peñuela, Puget Sound Partnership, will brief members on next steps for the group at 10:10 a.m.
• Cecilia Gobin, Northwest Indian Fisheries Commission, will present “Treaties at Risk: The Broader Context” at 10:35 a.m.
Gobin’s presentation is part of the No Environmental/Climate Justice without Racial Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion (JEDI) Speaker Series.
• Kate Dean will lead a roundtable discussion “Sharing Information, Coordinating and Collaborating across the North Olympic Peninsula” at 11:45 a.m.
The Strait ERN is one of the Puget Sound Partnership’s Local Integrating Organizations working to implement the Action Agenda for Puget Sound protection and recovery.
It includes all of the tribes and local jurisdictions, and most of the non-governmental organizations, educational institutions and key business groups with interest in the Strait Action Area, which extends from Cape Flattery near Neah Bay east to Point Wilson in Port Townsend, said coordinator John Cambalik.
