Starting at 5:00 p.m. Feb. 16, Salida City Council will host a work session where the Salida Police Department annual statistics will be presented. The slide show is intended to make the council and community members more aware of crime information and the work of the department. Visuals will show graphically the calls for service, reports taken, arrests, enforcement numbers, and other data points from 2018-2020.

Council will also hear a report on the Salida Golf Course 2020 season. Council will also receive the Parks and Recreation end of year review from Salida Parks and Recreation.
The golf course, as well as other city venues, had impacts during their 2020 season due to the COVID-19 pandemic response . The reports will outline Salida Parks and Recreation’s leadership, the new department master plan, and staff reorganization.
